I have successfully carried out various DIY jobs in and around the house, including building a fully insulated workshop with lighting and sockets for machinery, a garage conversion which I then fitted out to use as a study, replacing the bathroom floor, ground floor ceilings, flooring and tiling and have previously fitted a couple of kitchens. I have also replaced a consumer unit and partially rewired the house we live in now.

This is not really a hobby in itself, but rather a result of me having picked up these skills throughout my life. I do get a registered electrician to sign-off my work in order to be fully compliant.
